December 1st Email

Thanksgiving

I'm sure some of you hear but we got to hear from Dallin H Oaks for Thanksgiving and we make over 350,000 meals for people which was amazing! im learning a lot and got a new companion that day. And he and I are the new Zone leaders until we leave on monday. we got a little bit of snow but only two inches so it really wasn't anything, it was very refreshing. its very busy here and im ready to have a little more variety and be out in the field... its hard to believe that i have less than a week until I'm on a plane and in Texas... im a little nervous about the plane( im not a big plane person) but ill be alright. Me and my comp are Zone leaders until we leave which is kinda cool. i really like our Branch President he is really nice and really awesome. only 6 days until i am in Houston... i hope it comes fast so i cant really begin to serve!

November 24th Email

i dont have much time but its been pretty good, let everyone know that only a few computers are working so dont get much time to email. thank you soooo much, i should get more time next week to write. tell kenna happy birthday for me and that i hope she had a great bday! i have two companions Elder Scow and Elder Theobald, theyre both pretty good but my favorite elder is our district leader Elder Smith, he and i have so many simularities that its almost scary! i wish he was my companion but he is going to colorado instead of texas. we have and mazing district with 7 elders and 4 sisters. we always try to help eachother and its so helpful to recieving help. we went to the temple and had a great time going through and now i actually can remember a few things there. Last night i had a little bit of a hard time but i got a blessing from Elder Smith and Elder Bumm in my district and then read my patrirchal blessing and the graduation letter( my mom knows what that is) after reading both of those i knew that i could do anything, i could be a great missionary like Alma or the Sons of Mosiah. i got to go but i will have alot to talk about soon and ill try to write a letter because i have alot to talk about!
